Studio Babelsberg proudly presents the new Metropolitan Backlot – one of Europe’s most extensive and modern backlot sets for feature film, TV, and commercial productions.

Metropolitan Backlot is located on a 15,000 sqm (3.7 acres) backlot immediately adjacent to the sound stages, office spaces and workshops. Four street settings in different architectural styles with numerous courtyards and interiors are convertible into any city. With its flexible modular construction and digital set extensions the backlot can be modified and customized.
